Nice bit of animation from Makoto Yabuki especially with the perfectly chosen music, though I’m not sure whether it was composed by him specifically for the video or not. Simple yet sweet.
The profusion of illustration which fills Adrian Johnson’s website is some of the best and most “cheerful” illustration I have seen in a long time and is definitely worth a bookmark. While having a look around, have a peek at his selection of animations.
Beautiful chalk animation, co-directed by Yanni Kronenberg and Lucinda Schreiber, which befits the folk style of the music which comes from Firekites‘ album ‘The Bowery’.
Nice paper-based animation by Loup Thévenin where each object illustrates a sound. Created using 270 models, over 2500 sheets of paper and Hexstatic’s Pulse played in reverse.
Entertaining new viral video from Samsung and London-based The Viral Factory featuring a comical “claymotion” duo and brutal, one-sided cartoon violence. Its a fun video to start the week with nice animation, though I am at loss as to the message they are trying to convey.
