Portfolio of photographer duo Anna Mack and Neilson Tam, whose photography styles each have their own charm while capturing interest.
Strangely, to me, it seems they have slightly polar styles. Anna’s photography seems to be more subtle in approach, often focusing on objects and not people as well as using contrasting colours to draw out features. Neilson appears to be the opposite, focusing on individuals and less on places.

Canadian Stefan Thompson has a beautifully vivid, surreal and sketchy style of painting and drawing, with his work often focusing on animals and nature.
As well as his unique style, Stefan Thompson is relatively unique in that he has a high level awareness of the state of the environment being a environmental science student at Carleton University. This awareness is evident in his approach to art, his work often being done using earth paints which are non-toxic, reducing his effects on the environment.

Sabato Urciuoli is a graphic designer who is not afraid to explore outside of the barded-wire fence that surrounds, and limits, many forms of graphic design. Sabato experiments in many different ways with graphic design, typography, photography and even some music. One of his projects, ‘Play with paper/sound calendar’, builds music from a calendar displaying your bad days.
While Sabato is just one of the many graphic designers in a sea of talent, he is still a graphic designer who stands out, pushing his way into to the limelight with his unusual work. In my opinion, truly breath-taking work.
Shown is Typediagrama, a project by Sabato exploring the use of chart formats in the creation type.

We Shall See is a the portfolio of Chris Gray, British photographer and graphic designer. While Chris has quite a large mix of graphic design and photography on her website, there are a few things which I believe are important to check out. One of these is her Honk Kong photo series, a collection of photos from a trip to Hong Kong which capture the essence of daily life in the bustling city.

Grandchildren was recently commissioned to do a music video for Fleet Foxes‘ song ‘Mykonos’ with only 4 weeks in which to create the finished product.Even with such a short timeframe, Grandchildren have produced an incredible abstract stop motion music video, perfectly suited to the song, in which everything is paper, adding substance to the surreal story and jumping the hurdle which many music videos cannot surpass – telling a story in just a few minutes.

Vivid, colourful illustrations with the particular one (Multivox) reminding me of Mexico and ‘Día de los Muertos’, though, surprisingly, Emmanuel Malin is based in Paris.
